I can’t believe it. My boo Columbus Short (aka Harrison Wright from Scandal) might need a real life Olivia Pope. According to TMZ, Columbus is under investigation for getting into a bar fight.
Short was at a bar celebrating a friend’s engagement when a fellow partygoer decided to talk smack to my gladiator boo. The guy said something like, “You might be richer than me but I get my girls to buy me everything I want including your wife.” What would you do?
The Scandal actor allegedly lost his Harrison Wright cool and landed a punch on that guy so hard it rendered him unconscious for a couple of minutes. Columbus chipped sharpish after that, and an ambulance came and took the 37-year-old man to a nearby hospital.
Short is now being investigated for criminal battery.
It’s also not the first time that Columbus has settled a conversation with his fists. Back in 2010, he got into a fight while playing basketball and knocked another player’s teeth out.
If he’d only remembered his character’s speech about “putting the personal to the left”, he would have saved himself a lot of problems.
