The government have set out their roadmap out of lockdown. If all goes well, things should be back to normal on 21 June. We’ve still got a few months to go before we can go out and enjoy the outdoors to the fullest, so here are five fun things you can do at home.
Check your ancestry
Ancestry.co.uk is a great place to start your family history journey. Their records range from census records, wills, birth certificates, and even information about people’s jobs. Once you start adding family names and dates, you’ll get suggestions for where to look next and lead you to even more discoveries. Who knows, you might even be related to Beyonce or Rihanna.

Take a masterclass
Now’s the chance to upskill if you didn’t do something new during the lockdown. Join Masterclass is a hub of online courses taught by experts and celebrities in any given field. Let Sir John teach you how to create makeup looks for any moment, or let Issa Rae teach you how to create outside the lines.
Take up painting
